Surround Sound Experience


December 2003 recording of the famous Third Symphony
for the first time conducted for recording by the composer,
Henryk M. Gorecki, during his 70th birthday Gala Concert.
The performance was recorded for SACD, DVD-Video, and CD
in 6.0 surround sound (with a ceiling channel in the back).

November 2003, Krzysztof Penderecki's 70th birthday Gala Concert,
recorded and produced by Andrew Lipinski with his crew
in surround for SACD and DVD-Video release.

Maestro Penderecki himself conducted his Credo,
a piece that involved 280 performers (a full-size symphony orchestra,
3 choirs, 5 soloists and some winds in the back of the church).
The session was captured using exclusively vacuum tube microphones
for 6.0 surrond with a ceiling channel.
